You are on the right path! Start with
this post. Also consult the many resource posts at the bottom of the menu you are looking to cook.

HELP?! I so want (and NEED) to do this...but I guess I'm confused. You've got a february menu but it's actually going to be prepared for March -- is that correct? So you shop all month long in February so that in March you're working on a new menu for that month. Am I on the right path?
I'm VERY new to this but excited to learn... I've bought 4 books to help me navigate through menus (Fix Freeze Fast, Once A Month Cooking, Dream Dinners and Don't Panic Dinner's in the Freezer) but for some reason I am just daunted by the task... especially because they all have delicious sounding recipes but I want to incorporate some of our family favorites in there too. I love using my crock pot as well and some nights you just don't want to do anything!

I just found your site today and am so excited to see that you shop at Aldi's! I LOVE LOVE LOVE saving $ by shopping there!
I've never done anything even remotely like a OAM cooking day, but I'm excited to give it a try. What a great site you have!

I also find that if you have a bit of storage space, you can stockpile leading up to your big cooking day. That way it doesn't have to all be purchased the week of. I cook based on what I have stockpiled....makes it SO amazingly affordable. :)
